Let’s suppose you go fishing at the lake. You prepare your bait and cast a line. Then you wait and wait and wait for a bite. You may get a bite if you are lucky. If not, try back tomorrow. That is an example of social media marketing. 

Now let’s assume again that I gave you an expensive tool that will tell you exactly where the fish are. Interesting right? Now I bet, you are going to catch a basket full of fish because you know exactly where the fish are, that my friend is target marketing.
